GARDEN RAILWAY SUPPLY DEPOT sponsors several clinics and workshops during the year at our store in Springfield and on occasion at area model train shows and meets.
A WORKSHOP typically allows the participants to purchase supplies needed to start/complete a project. An example of a WORKSHOP is our Veneer Structures 101 class. Student fee includes materials needed to build a structure. At completion of class each student will take home a completed or nearly completed model.
A CLINIC is typically a demonstration of techniques/processes. Students most often have opportunity to participate by trying the technique. An example of a CLINIC is our "Cast It In Stone" Clinic where students learn the process of building a structure from concrete.
